Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 Engine Failure

On August 15, 2023, a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 performing flight from Houston Hobby to Cancun suffered an engine failure shortly after takeoff. The video showed that the number 2 engine was expulsing flames. The crew shut down the engine and returned safely to Houston Hobby Airport.
