No More Free Checked Bag on American Airlines International Basic Economy Fare

For all tickets issued after June 7th, in basic economy, passengers will have to pay $75 for the first checked bag on international flights outside North and South America. An additional bag will cost $100 and a bag after that $200.

American Airlines’ competitors United and Delta has not made the move yet. Time will tell if these competitors also follow.
