On March 8th 2014, a Boeing 777 from Malaysia Airlines disappeared off the radar with 239 people on board. To date, it is still a mystery as to where the aircraft crashed and where the plane’s final resting place is. In July 2015, a right-wing flaperon of MH370 was found on a beach in Saint-Denis on Reunion Island. In September 2015, French judicial authorities who examined it confirmed it did come from MH370.
