A Japan Airlines Airbus A350-1041 sustained substantial ground damage while parked at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in the early hours of Sunday, 14 December 2025.
The aircraft, registered JA10WJ, had arrived from Tokyo Haneda as flight JAL/JL4 and was standing at the gate for maintenance when the incident occurred. According to available reports, the A350 was struck by the right wing of a towed Israeli-registered aircraft, resulting in significant damage to the cockpit windows and other external areas.
No passengers were on board at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. The event is classified as a ground-handling incident and did not involve aircraft movement under its own power.
