Japan Airlines flight JL332, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, was left disabled on a taxiway at Fukuoka Airport (FUK) on 7 January 2026 after the aircraft reportedly sustained nose-gear tire damage during ground movement, disrupting late-evening operations and ultimately leading to a cancellation.
Local reporting indicates the aircraft was taxiing for departure to Tokyo Haneda (HND) when it contacted airfield lighting near the taxiway, after which a tire on the nose landing gear was damaged. The aircraft was unable to continue under its own power. The 787 remained stationary for about an hour while airport and airline teams assessed the situation and coordinated recovery efforts.
