China Eastern Airlines Airbus A330 Engine Failure

On December 3, 2023, a China Eastern Airlines Airbus A330-343 performing flight from Shanghai-Hongqiao Airport to Hong Kong-Chek Lap Kok International Airport suffered an engine failure. The crew was forced to divert to Xiamen Gaogi International Airport, where the aircraft landed safely. All passengers were unharmed. Two fan blades of the engine were broken and one was cracked.
