Frontier A321neo Returns after Engine Stall

A Frontier Airlines Airbus A321-271NX, operating flight F9 2467 from Cleveland (CLE) to Atlanta (ATL), experienced an engine compressor stall shortly after departure on Monday, 15 December 2025.

The aircraft, registered N619FR and delivered in 2023, was in the initial climb phase when the crew reported a No. 1 engine compressor stall. According to air traffic communications cited by media and social sources, the flight subsequently advised controllers that it had “all engines available.”

As a precaution, the crew elected to discontinue the flight and return to Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport, where the aircraft landed safely. There were 188 occupants on board, and no injuries were reported.
