On 3 December 2025, a JetBlue Airways Airbus A320-232, reg N656JB, sustained minor damage following a bird strike during landing at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The aircraft was operating flight B6390 from San Juan (SJU) to Newark when it struck a bird on approach. The crew continued the landing without further incident, and the aircraft taxied to the gate normally. A post-flight inspection revealed damage to the leading-edge slat on the right wing, and the aircraft was temporarily removed from service for maintenance. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew.
