On March 3, 2024, a Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 787-10 performing flight from Jeddah to London Heathrow suffered a bird strike. The aircraft landed without any incident at London Heathrow, but upon inspection, there was a gap in the leading edge of the slats on the left wing. The crew did not notice when the incident occurred; however, sources state that it most likely happened during the approach into Heathrow. No injuries were reported.
