A Philippine Airlines Airbus A320-214 operating flight PR2544 diverted on 19 April 2026 after reportedly experiencing a cabin pressurization issue shortly after departure from Dumaguete City. The flight had been operating a scheduled passenger service from Dumaguete Airport to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
According to unofficial reports, the aircraft had climbed to FL320 when the crew encountered the problem. The pilots then carried out an emergency descent to FL100 and diverted the flight to Iloilo Airport as a precaution.
The aircraft landed safely at Iloilo. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and the aircraft sustained no damage.
